The Outcasts plot

The story is set in Ireland in 1810. Introverted outsider Maura lives with her father in a small village, isolated from the outside world. After she falls under the spell of the mysterious pariah Scarf Michael, the villagers suspect her of witchcraft. She turns to her own supernatural powers for protection.
