Great acting, great story. Just a romantic movie as you expect. Great if you're into that

We Live in Time is described as a romance/comedy. I wouldn't really call it the latter, but rather romance/drama. The story is compelling, which is also due to very good acting. Great film.

A nice romantic drama in which especially the good acting of Garfield and Pugh stands out. Also because of the non-linear narrative structure the whole remains entertaining. You also have to pay attention, because it was not always immediately clear to me in which phase of the couple's life we were.

A plot that has been told several times in which one of the twobecomes seriously ill. The focus is not so much on the illness, but all attention goes to Alma: from getting pregnant, raising her child, but also her career in her kitchen. A nice in-between, the latter, although many "cooking films" have passed the revue in recent years. Because the attention of the different themes is well guarded, the whole remains balanced.

Nothing earth-shattering, but a very solid film that I enjoyed, not least from Pugh himself.
