Paradijs plot
On the day that his young girlfriend leaves his child with him, Noah (16) is suddenly thrown into the adult world. Completely in denial, he gets on his moped to bring their son back. But driving away to break free gradually becomes a journey towards connection.

Noah's mother [Ellen ten Damme] is appointed guardian until Noah is 18, but she insists that Noah take care of his child himself. This brilliant coming-of-age drama shows, without sentiment or eureka moments, how Noah gradually learns through trial and error what it means to care for a child and how it affects his behavior and ultimately his self-image. Claessen is a revelation and Koek can count himself lucky with some magical moments between Claessen and the 8 babies he worked with.
