The Blackwell Ghost plot
Filmmaker Turner Clay specializes in zombie films and does not believe in the existence of ghosts. Until he finds a video on YouTube from 2003 that he cannot refute. He decides to try to capture ghosts on film himself. To do this, he moves into Greg's house for a few days, where serial killer Ruth Blackwell - the original resident - is said to have thrown her victims into a well in the basement of the house in the 1930s.

The most interesting aspect of The Blackwell Ghost is that director Turner Clay (also the lead actor) has his own plane with which he flies from location to location. A special extra that works out quite nicely, but unfortunately it stops there. Clay goes about his work self-consciously and tries to eliminate as much boring structure and horror clichés as possible by means of a lot of monologues, but his constant presence has a tiring impact after 30 minutes. The constant nonsense gets in the way of the potential tension and despite the fact that the finale is somewhat more atmospheric, most of the film is lost because of it. The very limited budget is used creatively and the running time is effectively limited, but compared to the great Found Footage players this film quickly loses out due to a lack of necessary horror finishing.
