Parker, a member of the Special Forces, is overseas on active duty when she is called back to her hometown with the tragic news of her father's sudden death. Now the owner of the family bar, she reconnects with her ex-boyfriend Jesse, his hot-tempered brother Elvis and their powerful father Senator Swann, while trying to understand what really happened to her father. Parker's search for answers quickly takes a wrong turn and she soon finds herself in conflict with a gang that is operating violently in her hometown.

Disappointing film about a soldier who returns to her hometown after her father has died. A thin story that fails to captivate with rather clichéd characters. It doesn't help that Jessica Alba doesn't really convince. A pretty boring action movie.

Weak action movie. The story is very simple and has no surprises. The effect is very poor. The film is not exciting and the action scenes are quite average. The coincidences jump out at you and are sometimes almost laughable. Alba is also not really convincing as an action heroine. Visually it is all quite dark and colorless. A film from the Bruce Willis and Nicholas Cage category after their glory years. 2.0
