This is the story of Gerrie and Hanna Tokkie, the first reality stars in the Netherlands. They suddenly gained fame in 2003 by allowing television cameras into their daily lives. The whole of the Netherlands enjoys it. But then it becomes quiet, the Tokkies disappear into the background, but the name Tokkie remains. A documentary about the impact of their sudden fame and its consequences.

Documentary that wants to show that the Tokkies are not antisocial, but does not in any way refute the image from the previous documentaries. Doc also tries to make clear how the family suffers from the meaning of the name Tokkie, while at the same time people are given a voice who do not know the origin of the word. What remains is that it is interesting to see what has become of these people, that they are in a bad situation and that there is little else to experience in this documentary. Strange format by the way with that song.
