The most curious feature of Amityville Scarecrow 2 is that it is not the only sub-series within this universe. Those are the things you'll find out if you decide to watch a significant portion of this pulp thing. In any case, it is striking that director Adam Cowie and screenwriter Craig McLearie are very interested in drama. The entire film is overloaded with all kinds of thin nonsense and endless dialogue scenes that never manage to catch on. The talking takes up such a significant part of the overall picture that there is hardly any time left for the finale, which is completely rushed. The scarecrow looks a bit better and the actors are quite capable, but in the end it remains a rather boring horror.
