Well-acted, but moderately filled-in shark film by Swedish director Joachim Hedén. It goes wrong anyway when the run-up is a lot more interesting than the final danger. More interesting is how the characters end up at the location (excellent location choices, by the way) than how they get away again. Hedén makes a mistake by relying heavily on the computer to shape his sharks, which makes every attack and/or threat seem especially laughable. The build-up of tension is ineffective and the danger is nowhere palpable, moreover the characters are so annoying or clichéd that the viewer is insufficiently challenged to care about his situation. Towards the end there is graphic bloodshed, but by then I had almost completely dropped out.
