"Chase. Ride. Survive."
Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser who once witnessed a devastating tornado in person, now studies storm patterns in New York City safely behind a screen. However, through her boyfriend, she returns to the open plains of Oklahoma for a groundbreaking new tracking system. Once there, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens, the social media star who loves to post his stormy adventures. As the storm season intensifies, terrifying phenomena unlike anything seen before are unleashed.

This film was quite well done.
Once again positively surprised.
When it was announced that a new Twisters was coming after all these years,
Like many, I had an opinion about it.
But that opinion is completely gone after seeing this film.
Quite exciting moments, where you have the feeling that you are right in the middle of it.
Of course a bit exaggerated at times.
Like most films these days, the story is a bit simple, but I no longer take that into account.
Not a TOP blockbuster, but definitely worth seeing in the cinema

Very nice film that really draws you into the film. The 2 hours went by in no time and despite its simplicity the story was still quite well developed and it still grabbed you. I thought the ending was a little less developed. They should have paid some attention to some of the characters.
In addition, you should view some effects with a grain of salt. It looks very nice and realistic, but I thought a few times that some things go into the air with so much ease that it was remarkable that people seem to have less trouble with that.

In advance, this sequel to the tornado film by Dutch cameraman Jan de Bont seemed like a big mistake. For example, how the studios ended up with a director like Lee Isaac Chung remains a mystery to me and I also had my doubts about the cast. In the end, all that pessimism turned out to be for nothing, because Twisters turned out to be a spectacular and extremely entertaining genre film in which the pace never slackens for a moment. It is a pity that Chung very easily reaches for the computer to bring his emergency defense to life, but the viewer is distracted enough with a lot of fanfare and vehicles blowing away to disguise that. You will also have to ignore the somewhat thick sentiment and the needlessly heroic characters, but if you do, you will be in for the ultimate entertainment. Daisy Edgar-Jones (as an actress actually too good for these types of films) is a supporting factor, the action scenes follow each other smoothly and the finale is quite impressive. It is not among the best work in this genre, but it does what it is supposed to do and that is to keep the viewer fascinated in his or her seat for two hours.
