The Legend of Young Dick Turpin plot

Young farmer Dick Turpin is caught poaching. When he cannot pay the high fine, the noble landowner, Lord Clamsden, confiscates all his possessions. Nevertheless, he manages to save his faithful mare, Black Bess, and heads for the big city of London. There he quickly becomes acquainted with the dubious underworld full of thieves, led by a certain Jeremiah. With his young buddy, Jimmy the Dip, he still hopes to be cleared of all blame.
