Remake of the 1948 film classic of the same name. Claude Eastman is a conductor who is happily married to world-famous actress Daniella. Her brother Norman, however, throws a spanner in the works by telling Claude that he suspects Daniella of adultery. She is said to have a secret affair with Maxmillian Stein, an attractive young violinist from Claude's orchestra. He sends a detective to the two and confronts Maxmillian with his findings. The latter confesses to an affair, but Claude does not know that he is referring to the adultery with Norman's wife. Claude then devises a plan to get Daniella out of the way and to frame Maxmillian for the murder.
