Schwarzer Jäger Johanna plot

In the year 1809, the young Johanna Luerssen travels to Braunschweig by stagecoach. Traveling companion includes Major Georg Ludwig Korfes who, just before his arrest by Napoleon's troops, passes an important letter to her, a letter that should not fall into the wrong hands. When they meet again later, she returns the letter. But it doesn't stop there. As a woman, she joins the Black Hunters, the corps of the Black Duke Friedrich Wilhelm von Braunschweig, in the fight against French rule.
