The Velveteen Rabbit plot

"Imagine how love makes us real."

Seven-year-old William receives a velvet rabbit as a Christmas present. Initially, the stuffed bunny feels overlooked and unloved among the more modern and mechanical toys. After the rabbit befriends a wise old toy, the rabbit learns about the concept of becoming "real." As the bond grows stronger with William, they discover a world of magic.
