Ueli Steck was widely known as the fastest mountain climber in the world. But in 2011, when Dani Arnold broke Steck's speed record by climbing the Eiger in Switzerland, an intense duel for the great north faces of the European Alps began. The title is a bit misleading, as the documentary is not really about the rivalry between Swiss mountaineers Ueli Steck and Dani Arnold. Apart from that, an entertaining, often spectacularly shot portrait of two athletes who perform breakneck speeds without any safety equipment in an attempt to set as many speed records as possible. Of course, the American Alex Honnold, whom we know from the impressive documentary Free Solo, also makes an appearance.
