Ellos Eatnu - La Elva Leve plot
In the summer of 1979, Ester moves to Alta in Northern Norway to teach at a primary school. Like many Sámi, she is ashamed of her heritage and to fit in she hides her ethnicity and even participates in derogatory jokes about the indigenous population. The main source of income for the Sámi is the Alta River, which contains the largest amount of salmon in Norway.
