The Flood plot
"A tale of vengeance."
Jarah, daughter of an indigenous mother and an Irish father, lives on a mission with her Aboriginal husband Waru and their daughter. However, the Aboriginal men are then sent to fight in the Second World War. Waru also leaves. The Aboriginal people are promised that their wives and children will be well cared for in their absence. That turns out to be a lie.
