Cocaine Bear: The True Story plot

This documentary reveals the bizarre, weirder and true story behind the movie 'Cocaine Bear'. In the 1980s, former police officer Andrew C. Thornton II turned his back on his privileged life and became an international drug smuggler. He flew shipments of cocaine from South America to the United States. However, one day he mysteriously dropped dead in a driveway in Knoxville, Tennessee. A bag full of cocaine ended up in the North Georgia woods and was eaten by a black bear. In this film, those closest to the case recount their experiences, including the former sheriff and a special agent whose team found the bear.

A rather bland documentary that adds little or nothing essential to what you already knew with a little bit of attention, and also refutes the most charming urban legends about the bear. Lots of talking heads and little content, that's the short summary. Actually, the shot of the stuffed bear in the mall is the only thing that is remotely appealing, and even that isn't worth it.
