Seen on Youtube. A pure musical actually with quite nice songs, but especially with songs with a message. Songs with many truths, hard and confrontational. About a toxic relationship between Sonia and Max, in which the latter abuses his wife.
In addition, there is also a lot of attention for the gender role and the position of women. Women are subservient, must stay at home and above all must obey the man. The us-them feeling comes to the fore and is reinforced by the songs. However, Sonia is the free-spirited woman who stands up for herself, but at the same time is smothered with her boyfriend/husband. It is also striking that many think that a marriagewill suddenly solve all problems.
Fortunately, with its 90 minutes not too long. Actually quite pleasantly surprised. Not top notch, but just pretty entertaining.
