To the North plot

In the year 1996, the faithful Filipino navigator Joel is working on a ship. In the open sea he discovers the Romanian stowaway Dumitru hiding between the containers. If the Taiwanese officers found him, he would be thrown overboard. Joel decides to help him, but is gradually left to his own devices by everyone.
