Liv sees a dream come true when she returns to her hometown and lands a job in Dr. Teisen's veterinary practice. The latter is willing to give her a trial period, but the practice's main clients, Ingmar and Harriet Andersson, reject it. Behind their skepticism appears to be a dark secret.
