El Deseo de Ana plot
Ana and her son Mateo live in a middle-class apartment in Mexico City. Their lives are somewhat monotonous, but their routine takes a turn when Ana's younger brother Juan comes to visit them after years of absence. This reunion triggers memories and secrets from their past, which Ana must confront in order to finally find the peace of mind she has been missing for so long.

A rather unbalanced Mexican film about the relationship between a single mother and her younger brother, who suddenly shows up at her door after years. Apparently, the two of them had 'something' together in the past, but the film is quite vague about that. Just as the film is quite vague about everything. It is clear that this brother is a bit unhinged, with his excessive alcohol and drug use. The film's title doesn't really make sense, because it is mainly the brother who does everything he can to seduce his sister, after first getting his girlfriend pregnant. I found it a tedious and meaningless film.
