A failure in everything. Mia Goth may have a look, but she still has bad acting and a very annoying presence. Story also lags behind in the film adaptation; it's all nicely thought out but oh so apatically portrayed. How an aspiring director has created his own fantasy about (sadistic) manipulation for only a small audience. It shouldn't get more stupid. Let's forget about it

I wonder who will go on holiday to Croatia next year and eat eggs with bacon for breakfast..

Pa Cronenberg can now be quite proud of his son Brandon; this third film from him as director is original, surreal and quite unsettling. After a more or less traditional structure, plot and characters go completely wild, resulting in a hedonistic nightmare, populated by strange characters and bizarre events. The editing jumps a bit too much from one subject to another and certain scenes go on too long, but apart from that, this is a memorable job from a director who gets better with each film.

His earlier films could not appeal to me for the time being, I just found Antiviral too pale and poor and Possessor (Film, 2020) well I have to still giving it 2nd viewing, because too many things seemed (very) fascinating before I started this movie.

Now this 'Infinity Pool', I read the short content and starring Mia Goth I was extremely triggered and so I was looking forward to this.

And that turned out to be completely justified, because I had a lot of fun with this, visually and also musically, this was a gem, nice and trippy with moments and really pure enjoyment. And applause for the entire cast, but just a little more for Mia Goth, damn I'm such a huge fan of this actress, she also just has something that you can't teach, she on the screen / silver screen, then it splashes literally and figuratively from

Thick 9/10.
