Mario Lanza: The Best of Everything plot

Mario Lanza was the most famous tenor the world has ever known. In the 1950s he became a great idol through his many hits. However, within ten years his star had burned out and Lanza died at the age of 38. It was the first in a long list of tragic deaths of stars struggling with fame and its dark side. Lanza's life was filled with passion, tantrums, success, vices, generosity and incomprehensible tragedies. His whole story is told in this documentary.
