Mending the Line plot

"For some, the path starts on the river."

Marine Colter is flown wounded from Afghanistan to the United States. In the hospital he meets the Vietnam veteran Ike. Hoping that the trade will help Colter heal his physical and mental injuries, Ike teaches him fly fishing. However, their shared trauma and survival guilt threaten to disrupt the healing process.
