The Pez Outlaw tells the incredible story of Steve Glew who stumbled upon the niche market of rare Pez in the 90s by accident. Wanton, he decides to travel with his son to a factory in Europe and buy the Pez in hundreds of numbers directly from the manufacturer, anything but subtle and careful. After the millions of dollars pour in for him, it doesn't take long before Pez's director, the Pezident, decides to destroy him at all costs.

Another typical American underdog story of a criminal entrepreneur who pursues his American dream by breaking the rules of 'the system'. Or like Steve Glew, as the self-proclaimed 'The Pez Outlaw', came up with the idea of distributing illegal candy boxes in the collecting circuit. Much to the chagrin of the director of the American branch, because he suddenly saw his own failed design appear in the illegal circuit. According to tradition, a kind of David & Goliath would have taken place between the official brand and the petty crook. 'The Pez Outlaw' (2022) portrays it all wonderfully smooth with cinematic cutscenes full of colorful sets and a film noir touch. You can taste in everything that reality is somewhat given a Wes Anderson jacket. Although it may also fit the boast of that immensely sympathetic Steve Glew, with his wild beard and sloppy hobo clothes.
