Another new part and I thought it was nicely made. Another hand-drawn animation film and it has something extra. The story was good and the music was catchy.

It was a ten-year wait for a sequel and finally it happened.

Ernest's violin is broken and he and his inseparable buddy Célestine go to his native country 'Charabie' or Brabbelland in Dutch, to have it repaired by Octavius, an instrument maker. Charabie is an authoritarian Eastern Bloc-like state where playing music is forbidden. Even the birds have to abide by that law. Why? Because that's the way it is and no other way. Resistance comes in the form of the mysterious Mifasol. A cartoon that wants to explain to children how unpleasant it is to live in a country without freedoms.

It is nicely drawn and animated again, innocent and sweet. For me personally the development of the friendship from the first film was also a bit better (4.5*) but this is anyway a nice comeback of Brammert and Tissie who go on an adventure together here. Reminds me most of those Paddington films.
