Scottish landscape painter James Morrison was in his element when he painted in the open air amidst the rugged Scottish nature. But as he got older, he faced a major challenge. Morrison's work hangs in the homes of Harry Potter author JK Rowling and the British Royal Family, as well as in museums and private collections worldwide. From Scotland to the Arctic. Morrison had a great passion for landscapes and he painted them outdoors, in the open air. Even if his paint almost froze. As the painter got older, his eyesight decreased dramatically. This made outdoor painting impossible for him.
