Fine.

Typical thriller film that is held up by the acting itself. Sometimes movies don't need much more conceptually than a few actors who really feel like it and then you can come a long way. The title also makes it pretty clear where it's all going, so you know what to expect.

It is therefore properly implemented. Granaderos in particular stands out as a threatening, but pleasant and charming guest. I've seen him appear in movies a few times before, but never before have I noticed his talents so strongly. Hansen also impresses as a host and a somewhat naive man. Tang and Mattfeld can also count themselves lucky in their roles. Actually, I have nothing bad to say about the acting.

Despite the lack of a really oppressive atmosphere, the film itself sometimes creates a nasty moment that generates some hidden tension. These can only be counted on a single hand, but once they appear the film runs well. Furthermore, it is mainly a bit too tame and it runs a bit too slowly. The actors easily grab your attention, but after a while you start counting down to a final that is not satisfying at all.

I would have preferred the film to have stuck to an awkward thriller, and I think it would have even been beneficial to leave the horror elements entirely at home. The film works better as a psychological thriller. The film now works towards a climax that leaves you with a somewhat sour aftertaste due to the unsatisfactory character, but otherwise it is an entertaining, charming event that I don't have much to complain about.

Amusing horror comedy where the horror remains rather modest. Laughed out loud with that face of the antagonist during his: 'We are the neighbours'. Solid chemistry between the characters, a somewhat twisted plot, but that didn't spoil the fun.
