"There's no turning back."
A journey across the country by car turns into a nightmare for recently widowed Brenda, her two children and her brother Reggie. After witnessing a brutal murder, the family finds themselves in the crosshairs of a mysterious killer. They are alone in the desert of New Mexico and cut off from any help. Brenda is soon drawn into a deadly fight to keep her family alive.

Largely agree with bjerik76. Movie starts well and realistic, but after the son is kidnapped, it all gets a bit too unrealistic. In addition, as that girl joked in the car at the beginning, Uncle Reggie is not the smartest. He endangers his sister and her children for drug money. That was perhaps the most idiotic decision in the movie.
2.5 stars.

Dead end. Predictable with a capital V. Substandard quality, but that can still be amusing in itself, but it also takes itself so seriously. Collection of very poor actors too, Ludacris can't really act, Beau Bridges (not to mention his film colleague) exaggerate grossly. The Queen stands out in a positive sense, but has to be careful that she does not get forgotten by this kind of shoddy work. Bridges plays almost exactly the same role here as in a movie I saw a few years ago, well that must be the surprising twist. Only new: almost all white people are white trash, the afro-americans are the good guys here, that these end up running off with money that does not belong to them is forgiven them ...... how stupid can you be make it?
