Good horrors are really rare. This is another top one, scary bad! I liked Stevens in Downton Abbey, but he is not an actor enough to get big roles and so he settles for these kinds of B-movies. His performance with that terribly broken English is really pathetic. Another 1.5 hours of my life wasted...

The title is certainly accurate. This slightly surreal thriller with horror features is delightfully weird and bizarre, but unfortunately also rather long-winded and ultimately mostly vague. Dan Stevens at least goes all out as the owner of a rather strange Swiss resort where leading actress Hunter Schafer is confronted with strange situations. Sporadically the atmosphere is just right (a night scene on a bicycle is very scary, for example), but too often the focus is on long drawn-out scenes that are neither fish nor fowl.
