Le Voyage de Talia plot

Talia, a young Afro-Belgian woman, visits her country of origin, Senegal, for the first time. She arrives in Dakar at the luxurious villa of her Senegalese family, where she hopes to find her grandmother. But her grandmother is absent and the villa quickly becomes a golden prison. One day she meets Malika, a mysterious itinerant bird seller.
