On the night of 9 to 10 November 1942, near Jonschwill in Switzerland, Ernst S. was executed. Between 1942 and 1944, seventeen traitors were executed in the village and Ernst S. was the first of these. However, little has been released about these traitors. This documentary attempts to map the life and death of Ernst S. with witness statements from villagers.
