La Terra Buona plot
On the Swiss border in Val Grande, the largest wilderness area in Europe, there are no roads, shops, villages or other signs of man. One last person still lives in the untouched landscape: Father Sergio, a Benedictine monk in his 80s. He has lived for 40 years in an old hut he built. One day the young woman Gea arrives with her friend Martino. Gea has cancer and no treatment seems to be working. Martino's uncle recommended a doctor who has been experimenting with alternative treatments for years. The doctor is rumored to be hiding somewhere in the wilderness area. For a reason.
