"Eternity awaits you."
The unfortunate woman Margot has inherited a gothic ruined castle. Discouraged, she decides to go there with her ill-tempered husband Dieter. When they lose the key to the car, they are forced to spend the night in the castle. As they stay longer, the couple realize that something is wrong with the castle. Sadomasochistic tendencies soon bubble up from the foundations of their shattered romance, as bitterness and resentment suffocate their relationship.
