Day Zero plot

"Every drop counts."

This documentary looks ahead to the day when the Earth will run out of water and attempts to show how humanity is consuming precious water reserves at a very high rate while taking away the Earth's ability to replenish them. In search of the voices of ordinary people confronted by water scarcity, the film takes the viewer on a journey through time and space to show how close is the day - Day Zero - when all our water resources will be depleted. What is the price we have to pay for the comfort and privileges that modern life brings?
