A man claims to have formed a friendship with a largely harmless spirit that bears a striking resemblance to legend Ernest Borgnine. The two become internet sensations overnight. When they begin to take an interest in the ghost's past, they inadvertently draw the attention of the CIA.

Reasonable film in which a family moves into an old house with a ghost in the attic. A simple fact, but the story itself is well worked out. An old-fashioned youth film (and that is meant in a positive way). Some entertaining scenes (such as the car chase), but the film simply goes on too long. A small 3.0 stars.

Side board just not a children's film. Very light-hearted film with some funny moments and some emotional scenes, but it never gets really deep. But also not boring. David Harbor succeeds in portraying a sympathetic spirit without speaking a single word, he has to rely solely on non-verbal expression and I think that is well done. The CIA is portrayed somewhat exaggeratedly cliché, without really coming across as threatening. Tig Notaro in particular plays a bit over the top. As said at the beginning, just not a children's film. But precisely because of this approach, this film is also easy to digest for young people. Two hours passed. Keep it on a weekday Netflix production. Won't appeal to everyone.
