Hostage plot
After Mark breaks into a suburban house, he must face the consequences of his actions. Mark, a criminal, discovers that the house is inhabited by crazy killers. They will do everything they can to make sure he doesn't leave their home alive. At the same time, Mark pulls out all the stops to get out of the predicament he found himself in.

An unconvincing thriller with an inviting poster, something the final content can't quite match. Hostage presents a plot twist early on that carries through the entire sequel, but beyond that, there are precious few surprises to be found. The acting is especially poor, with many cast members getting far too bogged down in unnecessary stereotypes. Director Eddie Augustin makes several attempts at original character development, but the unimpressive visuals and, above all, the mediocre acting repeatedly hinder these efforts.
