Last Days at Sea plot
Reyboy is twelve and lives in the remote village of Karihatag in the southern Philippines. The sand, the rocks, the water below him and the clouds, the stars, the planets above him form his world. Saturn, that's where he wants to go. He can stare at it endlessly during sweltering summer evenings. But after this summer, Reyboy leaves his village and family to go to school in the city. Most of the people here are fishermen, with weathered skins and toned muscles, who share the profits of their dangerous work every day, and who also suffer from overfishing. Reyboy's parents know that studying is the only way out of this hard life.
