British Leonard was a tailor made tailor and belonged to the top of the famous London street Savile Row. After a tragic event, he is now in Chicago where he owns a small tailor shop. His clientele currently consists of a vicious gangster family.

The entire film takes place in 1 location but still manages to captivate because of a strong story with enough tension and twists. Strong performances with the always excellent Mark Rylance as the star.

Nice crime movie. The story is quite nice, but not clever enough. The elaboration is challenging and partly successful. The film is set in 1 location and seems somewhat like a farce. Moore has trouble holding the viewer's attention with this. Every now and then the film fades and becomes quite boring. Fortunately, just when you want to give up, something happens that continues to fascinate you. As mentioned, the twists are not ingenious enough to surprise. The acting is fine, with a very strong Rylance. Partly successful. 3.0

I really enjoyed this movie. It is very well written, the actors are magnificent and the pace is just slow enough. But there is no scene or shot too much. The whole is beautifully portrayed and I especially liked showing the old craft of tailoring.
It doesn't feel static and it doesn't matter that it takes place in one location because there is enough tension! I didn't see it coming, actually. If you find this predictable, you have a hard life. Not sure which movie you find surprising?
Tailor's character is genius. In short, yes I could find myself in the outfit!
