Brotherhood plot
"I'll be back in 23 months, inshallah, and I hope to find everything as I left it." For example, the Bosnian imam Ibrahim addresses his three sons, shortly before he has to go to prison for two years. Each of them is given a specific assignment: eldest son Jabir has to find a job, Usama becomes responsible for the flock of sheep, and youngest son Useir has to do his best at school. Little comes of this, as is soon apparent in this intimate portrait.
