"One seed can change everything"
After the collapse of the ecosystem, the earth has turned into a post-apocalyptic planet. Thirteen-year-old Vesper uses her survival techniques to live a life in this world with her ailing father Darius. One day she comes across Camelia, a woman who survived a plane crash. The women make a deal: when Vesper goes in search of her missing companion, Camelia takes her to the Citadel. This is the heart of the oligarchs who use technologies to control the world.

Disappointing.
Ambitious and impressive at first glance, but once the film progresses you feel cheated as a viewer. Certainly me, because after some time I just got bored. Doesn't seem like the intention with a film that carries this poster, but the special objects you see there are hardly used.
Irritating main characters and the actors who are well on their way are pushed into the thankless background. A Marsan and a Brake are completely neglected. Instead, we get some annoying kids as well as uninteresting adults in the lead. I completely forgot about that Chapman in no time.
Some interesting effects and some impressive attempts to create a world similar to ours in the future. The directors opt for a wooded area and make good use of it. The story itself sounds quite intellectual, but is then presented rather reserved and boring. Something with viruses can of course be interesting, but that is never the case here. More like a dramatized nonsense plot.
I just wasn't encouraged anywhere to give a fuck about the story. It just couldn't bomb me at all, but I can't help but notice that there is a certain passion. Just think the directors didn't really promote very much and left out the better elements. In a way it is an interesting project, but just not interesting at all. Unfortunately.
