Silver City plot

"New Land… New Life… New Love…"

After the Second World War, 4000 Polish families come to Australia. Among them are Jews, fascists, anti-communists and other displaced persons. They are housed in barracks. One of them is a young woman named Nina. She meets Julian, also a Pole who resides in the barracks. He is married and has a son. Nevertheless, they fall in love with each other. This makes their already difficult life in the new country even more complicated.
