Lover Other plot

The 1920s surrealist artists Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore were a lesbian couple and stepsisters who lived and worked together all their lives. They heroically opposed the Nazis who occupied Jersey Island during World War II, and were sentenced to death. Through archival photos, interviews and lyrical reenactments, Barbara Hammer's hybrid documentary delves into the life and work of these queer visionaries.
