Sången om den Eldröda Blomman plot
Olof Koskela is the restless son of a rich farmer. He meets Annikki and takes her to the evening dance. But at the ball, he leaves Annikki for another girl, the maid Elli. Later that evening, the couple is surprised by Olof's mother. The next day, his father is angry because Olof hooks up with a simple maidservant. After a violent quarrel, Olof beats his father and therefore has to leave his house.
