Good film about an orphaned girl who wants to make it as a fashion designer. A great origin story about the villain from 101 Dalmatians, set in mid-70s London. The film looks good with a beautiful decoration and also fine camera work. Also a good soundtrack and the reveal gives the main character just that little bit extra. Both Emma Stone and Emma Thompson are both enjoyable.

Wonderful film, especially thanks to the unsurpassed Emma Stone. Must also be a great part to play and she does it with gusto. I know few actors who can communicate so much with minimal facial features and also combine this with a perfect sense of timing. I do admit, @sergio Sergio Leone, that the villainous smile could be improved. Well, you just have to have that voice or not, I'm afraid.
Film also looks very tight. The apparently very fake dogs didn't bother me at all; I won't watch it. Emma Thompson is also nice and nice to see Paul Walter Hauser again, as a similar type, but in a completely different kind of movie than Richard Jewell.
Really well entertained. More of this kind of movie please!
