Lingui plot
The story is about a single mother (Amina) whose world changes drastically when she discovers that her fifteen-year-old daughter, Maria, is being expelled from school because she is pregnant. Maria is determined to have an abortion. As a Muslim woman, Amina struggles with the precepts of her faith when she discovers that Mary became pregnant as a result of rape.
