Munich is a film that is incredibly gripping in its story. That is also clearly felt after seeing this film. I thought it was a good movie but a bit long winded at times. Everything could have gone a little smoother. Not that slow movies are necessarily bad, but I don't think it worked here.

After the hostage-taking and eventual death of 11 Israeli athletes during the 1972 Munich Olympics, Israel's secret service decides to repay those involved in the responsible terrorist organization in a series of attacks. This reconstruction of the retaliation follows the Israeli agents involved and focuses primarily on Aver [Eric Bana], who increasingly questions the justification for the attacks in which he is involved. Spielberg leaves it to the viewer to form an opinion, but focuses too much on moral issues, which means that this takes an unnecessarily long time and does not always hold attention. The acting is exemplary and Spielberg appears to be very good with the thriller elements. Contains some memorable moments, but is unnecessarily long.
