The Forever Purge plot
"The rules are broken."
Adela and Juan are on the run from a Mexican drug cartel. They hide on a Texas ranch and find peace. Everything changes when the pair are forced to face off against some aggressive outsiders on Purge Night, who don't care about the curfew. Adela and Juan then have to fight for their lives.

Why keep getting a part with new characters. Rather follow a story with a common thread or a family. And that Mexican setting in this part was just boring, lack of atmosphere, bright colors, a city like New York or LA. I just don't understand what American film critics see in this film. Plus point; camera work was very good in second act with good tracking shots.

Loved the idea of a forever purge. That people didn't have enough with 1 day of purge. But expected something more from it. Wasn't very exciting. You could count the good pieces on one hand. That part with the goat for example, that was an exciting part and the part with the tank at the cinema, but those were over in no time. All in all nice for once, but nothing more. Could have been a little more in my opinion. The acting was good, but the story could have been better.
