Police plot
Mangin, a tough police inspector in Paris, collects evidence through his network of informants against three brothers from Tunisia who deal in drugs. He arrests 1 of them, Simon, along with his girlfriend Noria. Simon's brothers hire a lawyer. Noria then steals 2 million francs from the Tunisians and plays with the feelings of both the lawyer and Mangin. A web of scheming and intrigue is being spun in which in the end nothing is what it seems and in which all the protagonists are evil, untrustworthy or untruthful to a greater or lesser extent.
