La Lectrice plot
Constance reads to her lover in bed at night from Raymond Jean's short story "La Lectrice". Inspired by the story of the main character Marie, a woman who offers her services as a literature reader, Constance decides to do the same. Marie and Constance's lives are intertwined so that it is difficult to tell which is real and which is fantasy. It becomes even more complex as Constance's clients' lives are mixed up with the stories she reads.

A particularly playful film, completely carried by a frivolous Miou-Miou. It's a shame that the relaxed, cheerful atmosphere and spontaneity gradually diminish towards the end, as the reader's relationship with her clients becomes much more serious. For that reason, I feel the film ended on time.
Very enjoyable, and kudos to Miou-Miou's cheerful performance, who clearly seems to enjoy her role. It's more than worth it, thanks in large part to her.

A more than fresh film, based on Miou-Miou's talent, in which the lyrics are very important.
